Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

✍️ Author Guidelines – International Journal of Engineering Research and Sustainable Technologies (IJERST)

IJERST is a peer-reviewed journal published by Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute, dedicated to the dissemination of original and innovative research in all fields of Engineering, Science, and Technology. We invite high-quality submissions that demonstrate theoretical depth, empirical rigor, or innovative applications relevant to current scientific and industrial challenges.

✅ Submission Criteria

  • Manuscripts must represent original work and must not be under consideration elsewhere.

  • Simultaneous submission to other journals is not permitted.

  • All submissions should clearly state the research problem, methodology, results, and conclusion, along with appropriate references.

he International Journal of Engineering Research and Sustainable Technologies (IJERST) follows a single-blind peer-review process.

All submitted manuscripts are initially examined by the editorial team for relevance, originality and suitability for publication. Suitable manuscripts are sent to two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant subject.

Based on the reviewers' comments, the editor may accept the manuscript, request revisions or reject it. The final decision rests with the editor.

Peer review is conducted manually through email correspondence. The journal maintains review reports and editorial decisions confidentially to ensure transparency and accountability.

All manuscripts are assessed according to the same standards of quality, originality and publication ethics.
